~ Scented Picture Frame ~


Have you ever heard of a scented picture frame?
This rustic craft made from cinnamon sticks is fun to make.
An easy gift sure to please most anyone.

1 )Tie four cinnamon sticks together with raffia
or interesting twine.
Cinnamon sticks are available at grocery stores
and extra long ones at craft stores.

2 ) To make the background, cut out craft paper,
parchment, or burlap to the size of the frame.
Glue edges to the back of the cinnamon sticks.

3 ) Carefully cut around the picture before
gluing it to the background
or you can cut a section of the photograph smaller
than the frame and glue in the center of the frame.
Fasten a stick-on picture hanger or magnet to
the back of the frame.

Make an entire set for different size photos
or to give to friends and family!
